Gary finding his inner Norris

Is it possible to make an NRA ad funny?

"This challenge was recently brought to Four-Eyed Films by a DC marketing firm whose client is the NRA. They wanted to showcase their new spokesperson Chuck Norris, poke a little fun of the Tea Party, and try to get people to register to vote. We wrote 3 scripts which were quickly approved and Gary Adler was asked to Direct and Produce the spots which were to be shot in Houston, Texas.

We cast all local talent except the lead role, which was won by LA based comedian and co writer of the spots Ryan Sickler.

We hired Houston based Locke Bryan Productions to work as our local production company, providing the crew, camera, lighting equipment and post production facilities. We highly recommend Locke Bryan Productions if you are shooting in Texas.

Our clients showed great creative restraint allowing me to push the envelope as a director. As a result, what we originally wrote ended up on the screen and then some. The entire process took about 3 weeks script to screen, became one of the smoothest projects we’ve ever delivered, and on a side note, Chuck Norris is a really great guy to work with.

Billy Velten was our DP and Robert Marchand was the editor. Thanks to them and all of the cast and crew for their help.

I welcome your comments but hope to carry on any conversation and or debate in a dark bar somewhere over a Budweiser.

Thank you for your support and I hope to work with all of you soon! “
